Northern New England Appraisal Service will make every effort to contact your insured / claimant within 24 hours of receipt of assignment. We will also make every effort to inspect the assigned vehicle within 48 hours of contact with the owner / shop.
Status will be provided by e-mail or in associated software such as Process Claims.
We make every effort to keep the assigned adjuster informed to provide you with a well documented file.
On repairable vehicles we will attempt to get agreed figures with the shop of owners choice. A copy of our estimate will be faxed or e-mailed to the shop. Upon request a call will be made to the vehicle owner to discuss our estimate, adjustments and agreed figure.
All estimates are written using our preferred method CCC1.
All estimates include a condition report including vehicle identification number, year make and model, mileage, options and over all condition. We will also provide a detailed unrelated prior damage report with every estimate if said damage is noted. A full summary listing damages, point of impact and all related information is always included.
All completed assignments will include detailed photos of the point of impact and all related visible damages. Photos will also be taken of any unrelated or prior damages.
Northern New England Appraisal Service will adhere to your company requirements.
A search for like, kind and quality parts is always completed. The contacts and results are noted on our summary. Should requirements dictate we will apply aftermarket parts on acceptable vehicle‘s. State statutes and your company policy will always be applied. This will also be noted in our summary.
Total losses are handled at no charge to our customers. We will contact your choice of database such as CCC Value Scope , ADP Autosource or Vehicle Valuation Service. If requested we can complete our own evaluation using state accepted methods such as NADA and or Dealer Quotes for cost analysis.
We will also provide local salvage bids should it be requested or owner has indicated they would like to retain the vehicle.
If requested Northern New England Appraisal Service will contact the vehicle owner, obtain permission to move and have the vehicle moved to the salvage yard utilized by your company. No figures regarding settlement will ever be discussed. Towing and storage are always noted on our summary and estimate.
Stock numbers and date of calls are also included.
Northern New England Appraisal Service will forward our completed file to you as required.
We will e-mail, fax or mail all associated paperwork immediately upon completion.
Your requirements will always dictate the method of file transfers.
